just the other week, i listened to the entire lauryn hill album in one stretch—the miseducation (you know the one)—and for some reason, it meant so much more to me than ever. lauryn is a lyrical frikkin’ genius. a true female mc. im almost ashamed to think of some of the wack ass “female mc” shit that has crossed our airwaves since she left the scene.

now that i know this might be the only real album we’ll EVER get out of her (not counting her unplugged album)…it makes it even more precious to me. i’m sure she meant it this way.

or she just lost her God given marbles mid-way through the second album.

either way……………i miss her (crazy and all)
